This Graduation Project is not a competition, it is a selection of the best graduate works. Originally, the exhibition was intended only for Polish graduates. In 2009/2010, it gradually opened up to other countries of the Visegrad Group. The selection of artworks includes a wide range of graphic and industrial design, including fashion, glass and ceramics.
In 2018, the exhibition included a total of 273 works. The works created by Soňa Juríková, a graduate of the Studio Visual Communication and Martin Kadlec, who successfully completed the studies at the Studio Graphic Design, were included among the 30 most notable graduation projects.
Martin Kadlec focused on the design of a new logo and the visual style of uniform of the city of Most. "The main objective of the project is to enhance the visual identity of one of the biggest cities in North Bohemia and demonstrate the possibility of communicating with its citizens through these designs. "I wanted to simplify the road signs in the city and create a decent logo for this place with such a turbulent history. The new visual style is based on a strong meaning of the letter M", explains Mrs. Kristýna Fišerová, the Head of the Studio of Graphic Design Soňa Juríková, under the guidance of Mr. František Steker, completed a multi-awarded bachelor's thesis entitled "The Syllabary". The artist has received accolades from various award-giving bodies such the Excellent Student Design Award at the National Student Design competition, the Museum of Decorative Arts Award, and from the Albatros Publishing House. We hope to see her book published and sold in various bookstores nationwide.
