About us

The Art Design Architecture Journal – ADA is a peer-reviewed scientific journal. Its goal is to create an internationally open platform for the presentation of current basic and applied research and to support the dialogue between theoretical reflection and creative practice. The journal publishes original scientific studies in English and Czech in the fields of art theory and history, fine arts, design, architecture, pedagogy and research in related fields, with a time language focusing on the creation of the 21st and 20th centuries. In addition to original studies, the peer-reviewed section also brings discussion contributions, news from current events in the field, interviews with prominent personalities and reviews of current publications. The journal is published by the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen twice a year.

The editorial deadline is set for May 1 and November 30.
