Painting
Studio head: MgA. Vladimír Véla
Asistant: MgA. Andrea Uhliarová

Our Approach
Contemporary art manifests itself as a multilayered phenomenon without fixed boundaries, developing in all directions both conceptually and formally. It reflects our era's character – a time of unprecedented freedom that carries the weight of responsibility for our choices.
Painting, while seemingly subject to these same principles, maintains its distinct essence. Viewed through the lens of history, it emerges as a constant medium, existing independently of our praise or critique. Its power lies in how it reveals its qualities to us, representing a sublime expression of human creativity whose manifestations stand as undeniable truths, waiting to be discovered.
Studio Environment
The Studio of Painting provides a universal environment that embraces and nurtures all painterly approaches – from realistic techniques to experimental modes. We prioritize individual attention to each student's unique personality and talent, focusing on developing their originality, independence, and personal artistic voice. Students are bound only by their own creative responsibility.
