Surgical instruments - Device for decellularization of liver tissue
The design of the device is the starting point for formative research of aids in order to optimize the decellularization process for liver tissue transplantation with an emphasis on safety and efficiency. Designing and testing took place in cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine of the Charles University in Pilsen. The design team tested different methods of fixation and storage of liver tissue during the process, focusing on ergonomics and tissue friendliness. The output is a final prototype that verifies partial hypotheses. The shape solution takes into account the easy handling of tissues - filling the container with an exchangeable bottom with a negative or positive arch and an applied fine elastic fabric that prevents the material from sliding, and a hoop with holes with the possibility of attaching hoses with which the liver is fixed. It represents an innovative solution for further research in the field of liver transplantation, whether in the field of material engineering or the overall ergonomics of the workplace and the application of individual elements and procedures in clinical practice.

Floating Rescue Cradle
Technical solution applicable where children need to be evacuated from flooded areas. It serves as a place where the child can survive in dry transport to safety and is equipped with the basic necessities (durable food, water, diapers, blanket) to care for the child in emergency conditions. The body of the device consists of two floats and an inner chamber for the baby. The catamaran construction makes the device stable, with ropes along the floats for holding and contact with the rescuer during evacuation. The construction is foldable and stackable. Its secondary use can be found to evacuate smaller pets (dog, cat, etc.).

Internal storage insert of the work case
Technical solution applicable for any work case. The insert is made of solid materials and estates of two parts – the first (upper) one fills a lid of the work case while there is a space for tablet placing, the second one fills a larger (lower) part of the case. The second part of the insert is shaped so that two headsets of virtual reality glasses can be placed in it, namely they are fitted into the insert on the concave part similarly as the glasses are fitted on the head. Below the second part of the insert, there is space left to store other optional case components. For this purpose, three connecting openings are formed in the lower insert, through which, for example, cables can be led out of the storage space. Both parts of the insert are designed to fit two headsets, a tablet and a cable for electrical connection. The top layer of both inserts is made of glossy material, so it is easy to keep them clean.
